What are the operating hours of Intertour Australia?

24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Subject to availability.

Where is the pick-up and set-down point at Melbourne Airport?

Terminal 1, 2 and 3

Pick-up and Set-down is at the Groups and Charters zone outside Terminal 2

Terminal 4

Pick-up and Set-down is at the Groups and Charters zone at Terminal 4

Please note:

– We do NOT pick-up and set-down on the elevated roadway at Melbourne Airport.

– We can only wait at the Groups and Charters zone for a maximum of 10 minutes. 

Where is the pick-up and set-down point at Avalon Airport?

Where will the driver pick up and set down at your Accommodation?

We will endeavour to pick up and set down to the closest entry point to the premises.  

Do I have to change buses en-route?

No.  Intertour provides a direct service.

Are there any discounts for group bookings?

Yes.  Please contact Intertour directly.

Do you have return prices available?

No.  All prices are one way as the return service is subject to availability.

How do you accept payment?

We accept cash on the day of travel and it is paid directly to the driver.  Where available we utilise the PayPal secure payment system.  Please note surcharges may apply to Credit Cards. 

What happens if I cannot print my ticket?

Please contact Intertour immediately.  Also, if you have a smart phone please take a photo of your booking for additional reference.

I need a receipt so I can reimburse my travel expenses?

Our tickets are Tax Invoices and are provided on the confirmation of booking and on the date of travel.

Do I need to book a seat?

Yes.  It is recommended you book directly with Intertour as soon as you know your details.  You may also book directly with the driver on the day however it is subject to availability.

What happens if I miss my travel on Intertour?

Failure to travel will result in your booking being forfeited.  No refund or transfer will be allowed. 

If your airline has been unable to maintain their schedule and you are late please contact Intertour immediately.  After an assessment of the circumstances your booking may be valid for the next available service.

Please note:  We do not provide any emergency accommodation or assistance if you fail to travel.

What happens if I leave something on board the bus?

Contact Intertour immediately.  Please note we are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.

Is Intertour an Accredited Operator?

Yes.  We are an Accredited Operator (AO) under the governance Transport Safety Victoria and all drivers are authorised with a Driver Accreditation issued by the Commercial Passengers Vehicles Victoria. 

Intertour Australia strictly complies with the Bus Safety Act 2009 Victoria and Bus Safety Regulations 2010 Victoria.

Dress Requirements

A reasonable standard of clean clothing and footwear is required.

Food & drink on board

No food or drink is allowed on-board unless required for health reasons. Screw top bottled water is allowed to be consumed.

Meal and refreshments are not provided by Intertour, although stopovers en-route may be provided on group charters.
